This role supports both inpatient and outpatient procedural labs , providing care to adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions. Our comprehensive Cath Lab program includes pre- and post-procedural holding areas and a strong collaborative care model led by RNs and Cardiovascular Technologists (CVTs). We are committed to exceptional patient outcomes and satisfaction through high-quality, team-based care. Responsibilities Provide nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Monitor patient status and respond to emergency situations appropriately Administer moderate sedation and monitor for side effects Collaborate with physicians, CVTs, and other clinical staff Ensure safe and accurate documentation of patient care Recognize and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias Provide telemetry monitoring as needed Prepare patients pre-procedure and assist with post-procedural recovery Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required Active BLS and ACLS certification (AHA only) Trained in moderate sedation Strong skills in dysrhythmia recognition and telemetry monitoring Excellent communication and clinical judgment NY RN License in good standing We also offer referral bonuses!
