Job Title: Telecaller – Loan Recovery & Collections (Kannada/Tamil)

About the Role

We are hiring experienced telecallers for our loan recovery and collections operation. You will handle outbound calls to borrowers with overdue accounts, negotiate repayment, and drive resolutions while maintaining compliance and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Make high-volume outbound calls to delinquent borrowers in Kannada and/or Tamil Negotiate repayment plans, settlements, and PTPs (Promise to Pay) and follow up till closure Accurately record call dispositions, borrower responses, and payment commitments in the dialer/CRM Escalate disputes, hardship cases, and non-contactable accounts per defined process Meet daily/monthly targets: connect rate, PTP conversion, and amount recovered Adhere strictly to RBI fair practices code and collections compliance guidelines — no harassment, no misrepresentation Coordinate with field/legal teams where escalation is required

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in loan recovery, collections, or debt recovery telecalling (NBFC, bank, fintech, or collections agency) Fluent in Kannada and/or Tamil (spoken); working Hindi/English for internal reporting Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills with difficult customers Familiarity with dialer systems, dispositions, and CRM data entry Understanding of DPD buckets, PTP, settlements, and standard collections terminology Target-driven, thick-skinned, and consistent under pressure Available to join immediately

Good to Have

Experience in personal loan / digital lending collections Exposure to soft bucket (0–90 DPD) and hard bucket recovery Prior work with fintech NBFC portfolios

Compensation: Fixed salary + performance incentives linked to recovery targets
