Sap ariba upstream consultant

Job Description:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field. 6 to 9 years of hands-on SAP Ariba experience, with strong depth in Sourcing, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance, and Contracts. Proven experience in configuring sourcing templates, supplier registration and qualification flows, questionnaires, approval rules, validations, and contract workspaces. Good understanding of supplier master data, SAP ERP, SAP MDG, SAP Cloud Integration or CIG concepts, and integration touchpoints relevant to supplier lifecycle and sourcing processes. Strong experience in AMS, incident resolution, problem management, change requests, SIT, UAT, and quarterly release testing. Ability to work as a senior hands-on individual contributor with ownership mindset, structured problem solving, and strong accountability for outcomes. Strong communication skills with ability to work across global business users, suppliers, IT teams, and external implementation or support partners. Fluent English communication skills: experience in global procurement environments is preferred.

The scope requires end to end ownership of Upstream modules, complex issue resolution, quarterly release accountability, integration coordination, and global process governance. This is an individual contributor role with no people management responsibility.
