About the Role Barker Ross Staffing Solutions is looking for an experienced and motivated Industrial Recruitment Account Manager to join our established Leicester team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in industrial recruitment, temporary staffing or onsite recruitment who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and building strong relationships with clients and candidates.
You will be responsible for managing temporary staffing requirements across the food production, manufacturing, packing and warehousing sectors, ensuring clients receive a reliable and efficient recruitment service.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and confident managing a busy temporary workforce.
Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day recruitment and staffing requirements of industrial clients.
Source, screen, interview and register temporary workers for warehouse, packing, manufacturing and food production positions.
Coordinate candidate inductions, onboarding, right-to-work checks and compliance documentation.
Maintain a strong pool of reliable and available temporary workers.
Manage daily and weekly staffing bookings, shift allocations, attendance and last-minute cover requirements.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, site managers and temporary workers.
Attend client meetings and visit sites when required.
Monitor workforce performance, attendance and staffing requirements.
Support payroll processes and resolve candidate or client queries efficiently.
Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate information on internal systems.
Ensure excellent customer service while meeting recruitment deadlines and operational targets.
What We're Looking For Essential Requirements:
Previous experience within recruitment, ideally industrial, logistics, warehousing or food production recruitment.
Experience recruiting and managing temporary workers.
Confident conducting candidate interviews, registrations and onboarding.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to staffing requirements.
Strong client relationship management and problem-solving skills.
A proactive, hardworking and flexible approach.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Experience:
Previous experience as an Onsite Recruitment Consultant, Industrial Recruitment Consultant, Recruitment Coordinator or Recruitment Account Manager.
Experience managing high-volume temporary staffing requirements.
Knowledge of the food manufacturing, packing or warehouse sectors.
Understanding of recruitment compliance, attendance management, payroll and workforce planning.
