Senior Accountant

LHH is partnering with a growing real estate and property management organization in the Denver area to identify a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to take on increased responsibility and continue growing their career.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Complete balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages
• Support accounting for multiple entities and properties
• Analyze general ledger accounts and investigate variances
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit requests
• Partner with internal teams to improve accounting processes and controls
• Assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong general ledger and month-end close experience
• Experience preparing financial statements and reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP or property accounting systems preferred
• Real estate, property management, construction, or multi-entity accounting experience is a plus
• CPA or public accounting experience is a plus

Position Details

• Location: Denver, CO
• Schedule: Hybrid
• Employment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation:

-Annual salary between $95,000 and $115,000
