Role Description The Assistant Professor of ATOT will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, delivering lectures, conducting tutorials and labs, and evaluating student performance through assignments, exams, and projects. The role involves designing and updating course materials, contributing to curriculum development, and ensuring that teaching outcomes align with institutional standards and accreditation requirements. The Assistant Professor will engage in academic advising, mentor students, and support their professional and academic growth. Additional responsibilities include participating in departmental meetings, contributing to academic events, and collaborating on institutional initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Khanna.
Qualifications
Relevant postgraduate degree (e.g. Master's in a related ATOT/engineering/technology discipline); Ph. D. in a relevant field is preferred. Demonstrated teaching aptitude, with the ability to deliver clear, structured, and engaging lectures and practical sessions. Strong academic foundation in ATOT or related technical subjects, with up-to-date knowledge of current industry practices and technologies. Experience in curriculum development, outcome-based education, and continuous improvement of course content. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural academic environment. Commitment to student mentoring, academic advising, and fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom culture. Ability to engage in scholarly activities such as research, publications, or industry projects; prior research output is an advantage. Familiarity with educational technologies, learning management systems, and basic computer applications used in teaching and assessment. Prior teaching or academic experience in higher education is preferred, but motivated early-career academics with strong subject knowledge are encouraged to apply.Details
