Job Description
The Starzl Network for Excellence in Pediatric Transplantation ( ) is an innovative learning network focused on pediatric liver transplantation, led by UPMC Childrens Hospital and transplant centers representing more than 70% of the pediatric liver transplants performed in the United States. As a member of this nationally influential collaborative, you will work alongside leading transplant programs across the country to advance innovation, improve patient outcomes, and shape the future of pediatric liver transplantation. Through meaningful collaboration and quality improvement initiatives, the Starzl Network is transforming care for thousands of children and families each year while providing a unique opportunity to contribute to work that has a lasting national impact.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for various projects including plan and report development, maintenance of data and information resources supporting programs and initiatives.
There is required travel to an annual conference, location varies within the US.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in design, development, and implementation programs and initiatives.
- Provide first level support for department programs and initiatives.
- Communicate problems or complex requests to the Management.
- Assist in documentation of processes, standards, procedures, and policies for programs and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documents and materials to support effective roll out of programs and initiatives.
- Participate in the documentation and submission of service requests to business unit contacts, or system vendor(s).
- Assist in the assignment of request priorities, and monitor and communicate the progress of the assigned requests.
- Assist with department administrative support.
- Develops and maintains Excel Spreadsheets.
- Provide support, where needed, for all events and activities.
