Salary: $100,000 – $125,000 per year, depending on experience

The roleSome property managers live in spreadsheets. Some live in mechanical rooms. We need someone who is comfortable in both.At Renaud Consulting, you will run about 30 properties across the D.C. metro area, roughly 1.1 million square feet. Most are neighborhood shopping centers and mixed-use properties, with some office and about 600 residential units. In the morning you might be finishing a budget variance report for ownership. By afternoon you might be on a roof with an HVAC contractor, or on site at 10 p.m. because a sewer line backed up into a tenant's space. You will know what the repair costs, what the lease says about who pays, and how it lands in the owner's numbers. You will be the person ownership calls about how the properties are operating (facilities management), and you will work side by side with our leasing team on readying vacancies for new tenants, and plans and specification proposed by new tenants for their build-out of the premises.
About Renaud ConsultingRenaud Consulting is a full-service commercial real estate firm in Vienna, founded in 2008 by Henry M. Renaud. We lease, manage, develop, and sell commercial property across the Mid-Atlantic, with deep roots in grocery-anchored neighborhood shopping centers. Our property management and leasing teams typically work together on every property, so the people who run a center and the people who fill it are in the same room.

That includes HVAC, plumbing and sewer, roofs, electrical, parking lots, and life-safety systems.Run preventive maintenance programs and manage vendors and contractors.Take the lead in emergencies such as floods, sewer backups, power loss, or storm damage, including after-hours, weekend, or holiday calls.Plan and run capital projects on schedule and on budget.Keep properties compliant with building, fire, safety, environmental, and licensing rules in Virginia, D.C., and Maryland.
