Staff Accountant

Relate Search has partnered with an established construction organization to identify a Staff Accountant for a contract assignment supporting its Finance team. This is a hands-on opportunity to provide additional support to the Finance organization. The Staff Accountant will work closely with the Finance Manager and contribute to the team's day-to-day accounting needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day accounting support to the Finance team.
• Perform Staff Accountant-level accounting activities in support of the business.
• Assist with accounting processes, financial information, and related Finance activities as assigned.
• Partner with the Finance Manager and accounting team to support ongoing departmental needs.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records while supporting the team's operational priorities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience in a Staff Accountant or similar accounting role.
• Accounting experience within the construction industry is preferred.
• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a Finance team.
