Our client WayForth is looking for a Social Media Video Editor in Lahore.

Wayforth is a media production house managing short-form social content across dozens of Snapchat, Facebook & Youtube channels,.We're hiring a Video Editor to join our production team and help us keep pace with high-volume, fast-turnaround content across multiple branded channels.This role requires the candidate to be a self-driven professional who excels in fast-paced environments. The Video Editor is expected to edit short-form vertical videos optimized for mobile viewing, focusing on quick engagement within the first two seconds. Responsibilities include applying advanced technical editing techniques such as multi-camera editing, keyframing, basic visual effects, and sound design to produce compelling videos. Strong storytelling, pacing, and creative interpretation of current trends and meme formats are vital to succeed. Additional skills in captioning, subtitling, and basic graphic design are advantageous. The role also demands excellent organizational skills for maintaining version control and asset libraries, ensuring an efficient workflow conducive to high-volume content production demands.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce a high volume of short-form vertical video daily for Snapchat, Facebook, and YouTube, ensuring content is engaging and platform-tailored
• Use advanced Premiere Pro features multi-camera editing, keyframing, color correction, precise audio sync to enhance video quality
• Create motion graphics, text animations, lower thirds, and basic visual effects in After Effects to enrich storytelling and engagement
• Execute fast-turnaround edits in CapCut, incorporating auto-captions, trending templates, and effects to keep content dynamic
• Apply framing and platform-native pacing to capture attention within the first few seconds
• Stay current with social trends, sounds, and meme formats, integrating them creatively to maximize retention and sharing
• Manage multiple branded channels and content niches simultaneously, adapting editing style and tone to each brand voice
• Perform basic sound design and audio mixing, including trending audio incorporation and voiceover cleanup
• Maintain excellent file organization and project management naming conventions, version control, asset libraries
• Respond quickly to feedback, revising efficiently to meet deadlines without over-polishing
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to keep brand messaging cohesive across channels
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, and Adobe After Effects
• 1-3+ years editing for social platforms (Snapchat, TikTok, Reels, Shorts, YouTube) portfolio/demo reel required
• Proven experience editing at volume, across multiple pieces of content per day or week
• Reliable under deadline pressure, takes direction well, and revises quickly without over-polishing
