We’re looking for dedicated professionals who wants to join a fast growing and dynamic company to help us write our next chapter of growth.Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for the daily shipping and receiving functions in our facility ensuring smooth and consistent operations.
Shipping Responsibilities & DutiesIdentify and pick finished goods for shipping as designated by work orders. Items must be picked and then visually verified for accuracy relating to part number, quantity, product finishes, and/or order numbers.Maintains Shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping history informationPrepare, package, document outgoing materials.Enter and maintain accurate inventory of materials and supplies in the ERP systemStage loading and unloading areas with appropriate equipment, materials and space.Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with Purchasing department to rectify damages and shortagesBuild skids of goods for truck shipment. Tasks include selecting sequence that the goods are stacked and choosing the appropriate packing materials (i.e. Wrap and strap, skid packs, crates, etc.) in order to assure material is delivered in good condition to its destination.Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.Operate machinery to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area
Qualifications:1-2 years successful experience in shipping and/or receiving and material handlingAbility to prioritize workload in order to facilitate on time shipment of ready goods. xzbcwsv High sense of urgency; Good math and logic/ and recording abilitiesExcellent organizational skillsFast learner, hardworking, prompt, dedicated and responsibleAbility to meet physical requirements of position
