Role Description The Regional Vice President is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for driving business growth, profitability, and operational excellence across an assigned region. This role oversees regional sales strategies, distribution channels, and key partnerships, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and compliance with Shariah and regulatory requirements. The Regional Vice President will lead and develop regional teams, set performance targets, monitor results, and provide coaching and guidance to managers and staff. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing regional performance reports, identifying growth opportunities, managing budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, marketing, risk, and operations. The role also involves engaging with major clients and stakeholders, representing the company at industry events, and contributing to long-term strategic planning for the region. Qualifications Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience overseeing multi-location or regional teams. Proven track record in sales, business development, or regional operations within financial services, insurance, or related sectors. Solid understanding of Islamic finance principles and takaful concepts, or willingness to develop expertise in this area. Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making abilities, including proficiency in interpreting financial and performance data. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse cultures and backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, technology-enabled environment, including proficiency with digital collaboration and CRM tools. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
