Job Description : Prime LPG Company is seeking an Accountant to support accurate financial operations for its transportation activities in Rawalpindi. The role will maintain reliable accounting records, help monitor operating costs, and provide timely financial information to support day-to-day business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile transactions, invoices, receipts, and payments related to transportation operations.
• Track transport and vehicle expenses, review supporting documents, and flag discrepancies for follow-up.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare routine financial reports, expense summaries, and schedules for management review.
• Maintain organized records and support compliance with applicable accounting, tax, and company procedures.
• Coordinate with operations and other departments to verify billing details and resolve accounting queries.

This is an on-site, full-time position suited to an organized accounting professional who can manage recurring deadlines, handle financial information carefully, and communicate clearly with operational colleagues.

Job Specification

• Working knowledge of bookkeeping, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
• Experience processing invoices, payment records, expense claims, and accounts payable or receivable.
• Ability to review and reconcile transportation or vehicle operating costs against source documents.
• Comfort using spreadsheets and accounting software for data entry, calculations, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail when handling figures, supporting documents, and confidential records.
• Good organization and time management, with the ability to meet routine closing and reporting deadlines.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach to resolving discrepancies with operations teams.
• Sound understanding of basic accounting controls and willingness to follow applicable tax and recordkeeping requirements.
