Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage the full spectrum of accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing support, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing. This full-time, on-site role is based in Malappuram and involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate recording of transactions. The Senior Accountant will oversee statutory compliance, including tax filings, GST, and other regulatory requirements, while supporting internal and external audits. In addition, the role will analyze financial data to provide insights for budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, and collaborate with management to improve financial processes and systems. The Senior Accountant will also mentor junior accounting staff, promote best practices, and maintain strong internal controls.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and bank reconciliations.
- Proficiency in taxation, GST, statutory compliance, and coordination with auditors.
- Ability to perform budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial reporting for management.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Several years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in diversified or manufacturing businesses.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a high level of integrity and ethical conduct.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide and support junior team members.
- Ability to work on-site in Malappuram and manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing organization.
