DM Product Costing - CMA Finalist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for the position of Deputy Manager - Product Costing in a manufacturing environment, based in Clifton, Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product costing with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in an Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager role. This position requires hands-on involvement in cost analysis and financial management related to manufacturing processes, ensuring accurate and efficient costing practices that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the product costing process within the manufacturing setup, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyze cost variances and provide detailed reports to support decision-making by senior management.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to gather relevant data and maintain cost control.
• Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising product quality.
• Monitor inventory valuation and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts related to product costs and assist in financial planning.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure all costing activities adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• CMA Qualified or CMA Finalist, ACCA Qualified or ACCA Finalist, CA Part Qualified, or MBA in Finance.
• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in product costing within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of experience at Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager level.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficient in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

• Salary range is PKR 175,000 to 200,000 per month.
