Heavy Equipment Service Manager

C&C Industrial is seeking an experienced, hands-on Heavy Equipment Service Manager to lead maintenance and repair operations supporting our construction equipment, commercial trucks, concrete pumps, and support fleet.This is a working leadership position for someone who brings strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, enjoys leading technicians, and understands the importance of keeping equipment operational and construction projects moving.

What You'll DoLead and schedule shop mechanics and field service personnel, balancing preventive maintenance with urgent equipment repairs.Personally assist with diagnosing and resolving difficult diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical problems.Oversee maintenance and repair of excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, commercial trucks, concrete pumps, and other construction equipment.Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, inspections, work orders, and equipment service histories.Coordinate with construction and logistics leadership to prioritize repairs, minimize downtime, and return equipment to service.Manage parts inventory, outside repair vendors, and routine maintenance expenditures.Maintain a safe, organized, productive shop and promote accountability and teamwork.
What We're Looking ForStrong, recent hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment.Experience supervising mechanics, coordinating repairs, or leading maintenance operations.Solid understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.Ability to read technical diagrams, troubleshoot equipment problems, and guide technicians through complex repairs.Experience organizing preventive maintenance and tracking equipment repair activity.Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Willingness to remain actively involved in equipment troubleshooting and repairs when needed.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, or similar heavy construction equipment.Experience with concrete pumps or other specialized construction machinery.Familiarity with SAGE or comparable fleet maintenance and equipment management systems.
