Overview Carle Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Hospital Medicine team in a dedicated Nocturnist Cross-Cover APP role. This position is designed for a highly skilled, autonomous clinician who excels in acute inpatient care, clinical decision-making, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The Nocturnist Cross-Cover APP will work with hospitalist physicians and bedside teams to manage overnight patient needs, identify and respond to clinical deterioration, triage urgent medical concerns, and facilitate timely interventions that promote patient safety and optimal outcomes.
