Producer – Sports Editorial (Research & Scripting) - Contractual role

Experience: 3–5 years | Reports to: Senior Producer – Cricket & Sports Digital Content

• Drive research and story-mining for shoulder content — digging into stats, archival moments, player narratives, and trending conversations to identify angles worth turning into content.
• Script and structure content across formats (banter segments, explainers, listicles, reaction pieces) ensuring tone, pacing, and cricket knowledge are on point for a digital-first audience.
• Collaborate closely with the Filming & Edit Producer to translate scripts into shoot-ready briefs, and stay involved through the edit to ensure narrative intent isn't lost in the cut.
• Track live match context and trending storylines in real time during tournaments to feed fast-turnaround content ideas to the wider team.
• Support SEO and publishing decisions by writing platform-optimised titles, descriptions, and tags in coordination with the Senior Producer and publishing teams.
• Assist in liaising with digital creators for collab content — briefing them on narrative angles and cricket context to keep collaborations credible and on-brand.
