Senior pega developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Pega Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-level applications using the Pegasystems platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Pega PRPC (Pega Platform), business process management (BPM), and case management solutions, with a focus on delivering scalable and high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Pega-based applications aligned with business requirements. Build and configure Pega rules, flows, UI components, and integrations. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop BPM workflows, case management, and decisioning components. Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure quality delivery. Integrate Pega applications with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, and databases. Optimize application performance and ensure compliance with Pega best practices and guardrails. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives). Maintain documentation for applications, technical designs, and workflows. Support production deployments and resolve post-release issues.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5–10+ years of experience in Pega development. Strong experience with Pega PRPC / Pega Platform (version 7.x/8.x or above). Proficiency in: Case management & BPM concepts Data modeling UI design (Sections, Harness, Portals) Experience with Pega integration tools (REST, SOAP, Connectors/Services). Knowledge of Java, SQL, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script). Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Pega certifications such as: CSA (Certified System Architect) – required CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect) – preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Pega Decisioning (CDH) or Robotics (RPA). Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Knowledge of Dev Ops tools and CI/CD pipelines. Experience in industries such as banking, insurance, or telecom. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
