Job Description

We are seeking a Design Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in transmission system design using Siemens UG NX. The role involves designing and developing transmission components and assemblies, creating 3 D models and manufacturing drawings, and supporting product development from concept through production.

Responsibilities Design and develop transmission components and assemblies using Siemens UG NX . Create 3 D models, 2 D drawings, GD& T, and BOMs in accordance with engineering standards. Develop gearbox, shaft, gear, bearing, housing, and related transmission components. Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and ensure manufacturability of designs. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and testing. Support prototype development, validation, and design modifications. Review engineering changes and maintain design documentation. Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. Participate in design reviews and provide technical solutions for design challenges.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B. E./B. Tech). 2–4 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in transmission or drivetrain systems. Proficiency in Siemens UG NX (NX CAD) for 3 D modeling and drafting.

Good understanding of:

Transmission systems Gears, shafts, bearings, housings GD& T (ASME Y14.5) Tolerance stack-up Manufacturing processes (machining, casting, forging) Experience in creating engineering drawings and BOMs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities
