North East Logistics (NEL), the brokerage division of NAPA Transportation, Inc. is look for Logistics Coordinators to join our team in Cranberry Township, PA.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will manage the day-to-day execution of freight within an assigned region or customer base. You will work directly with carriers to secure capacity, negotiate rates, monitor shipments from pickup through delivery, and quickly address issues that arise along the way.
What You’ll Do:Source, qualify, and build long-term relationships with carriersNegotiate carrier rates while balancing service and profitabilityCoordinate freight assignments and manage loads from pickup through deliveryTrack shipments and proactively communicate delays, changes, or service concernsSolve problems in real time to keep freight movingMaintain accurate load and carrier information within NEL systemsWork closely with teammates to meet customer expectations and operational goalsDevelop a strong understanding of freight brokerage, carrier operations, and the transportation industry
What We're Looking For:Strong communication and negotiation skillsConfidence working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quicklyPrevious customer service, sales, logistics, or transportation experienceFreight brokerage or truckload experience is preferred, but not requiredStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely decisionsAbility to work collaboratively while taking ownership of assigned responsibilitiesAbility to work onsite at our Mechanicsburg officeAbility to work a 4 days on, 4 days off rotational schedule, including evenings and weekends, during the first year
