Senior Producer – Cricket & Sports Digital Content (Shoulder Programming)

Experience: 8–10 years | Reports to: AVP, Cricket Content

• Own end-to-end creation of digital-first shoulder content around live cricket and sports properties — in the spirit of formats like Extraaa Innings — including concept development, scripting, shoot planning, and fast-turnaround editing for match-day and tournament-adjacent content.
• Drive publishing strategy and platform performance by working closely with Social Media and SonyLIV publishing teams to plan release calendars, optimize posting windows, and ensure content is tailored to each platform's format and audience behaviour.
• Champion discoverability and click-through performance — actively debate and decide on SEO, titles, tags, and thumbnail design with editorial and design teams, using data and platform trends to guide choices rather than gut instinct alone.
• Leverage an established network of digital creators, influencers, and cricket personalities to bring fresh, high-engagement voices into shoulder content, manage collaborations, and negotiate/brief creator-led segments.
• Lead a lean production team (producers, editors, researchers) to deliver high-volume, quick-turnaround content during live tournaments, balancing speed with quality and brand tone.
• Track content performance metrics (views, engagement, retention, shareability) across platforms, translate learnings into iterative improvements, and present insights to senior stakeholders to shape future content strategy.
• Stay ahead of digital content trends — proactively spot emerging formats, meme culture, and viral patterns across platforms, and translate them into reusable edit templates that speed up turnaround without compromising quality.
• Work concurrently with the Live and Archive creative teams , ensuring shoulder content stays aligned with live match narratives and can effectively repurpose archival footage for nostalgia-driven or contextual content.
