Students get opportunities to participate in recitals, workshops, performances, and recognised music examinations such as Trinity, EVISM, LCM, ABRSM, and RSL/Rockschool . Key Responsibilities Conduct engaging and structured music classes. Follow Urban Raga's curriculum and teaching standards. Teach both practical and theoretical aspects of music. Prepare students for exams, assessments, recitals, and performances. Track and communicate student progress when required. Conduct demo or assessment classes for new students when required. Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment. Participate in Urban Raga's recitals, workshops, events, and teacher meetings. Inform management in advance about leave or class cancellations. Conduct compensatory classes when required. Maintain professional communication with students and parents. Requirements Strong proficiency in the respective instrument or vocal discipline. Formal music training or relevant qualification. Knowledge of recognised music examination boards such as Trinity, LCM, ABRSM, RSL/Rockschool , or equivalent. Prior teaching experience will be preferred. Good communication and classroom management skills. Passion for teaching and working with students. Professional Guidelines Follow Urban Raga's academic, professional, and student-safety policies. Follow the assigned class schedule and communicate any changes in advance. Support Urban Raga's academic activities, events, recitals, and workshops.
