About the Construction Company / The Opportunity:A company in the construction industry is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead hotel renovation projects from planning through completion. This opportunity is suited to a hands-on construction leader who can coordinate field teams, maintain high standards for quality and safety, and deliver projects while traveling to job sites.
Responsibilities:Lead day-to-day field operations for hotel renovation projects from mobilization through closeout.Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, site personnel, and project schedules.Monitor work quality and ensure construction meets plans, specifications, and applicable codes.Enforce job-site safety procedures and address hazards promptly.Track project progress, labor, materials, and schedule milestones; communicate updates to project stakeholders.Identify and resolve field issues, coordinating solutions with project management and design teams.Manage site logistics to support safe, efficient work in active or guest-facing hotel environments.Conduct inspections, maintain accurate project documentation, and support final punch-list and closeout activities.
Must-Have Skills:Experience supervising commercial construction or renovation projects, preferably hotel or hospitality projects.Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, plans, specifications, and building codes.Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage multiple field activities to meet project schedules.Commitment to job-site safety and experience enforcing safety requirements.Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required.
Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience renovating hotels while maintaining operations or working around guests.Knowledge of hospitality finishes, guest rooms, public areas, and building systems.Experience with construction scheduling and project management software.First aid, CPR, OSHA, or other relevant safety training or certifications. xzbcwsv Experience managing project documentation, punch lists, and closeout processes.
