Company Description Musee Musical represents Trinity College of Music, London, and has been a recognized center for music education since 1901. The institution offers both theory and practical training in a wide range of instruments, including piano, keyboard, drums, guitar, violin, and saxophone. Highly qualified and carefully selected teachers guide hundreds of students, preparing them for internationally recognized music examinations. Each year, approximately 8,000 students from Musee Musical sit for exams conducted by Trinity College, reflecting the school’s strong academic and performance focus. Many alumni have gone on to become successful music directors and musicians, bringing distinction to the Musee Musical School of Music.
Role Description The Counselor will provide guidance and support to prospective and current students, helping them understand course options, exam pathways, and instrument specialization opportunities. This full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad involves conducting student and parent counseling sessions, managing inquiries, and assisting with admissions and enrollment processes. The Counselor will collaborate closely with teachers and administrative staff to ensure students receive appropriate academic and career advice, and will maintain accurate records of counseling interactions. Additional responsibilities include organizing orientation sessions, supporting exam registration processes, and contributing to outreach activities that promote the school’s programs.
Qualifications
Strong student counseling and guidance skills, with the ability to understand individual needs and recommend suitable courses or programs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication with students, parents, and staff. Organizational and administrative abilities, such as maintaining records, managing appointments, and handling admissions documentation. Basic understanding of music education or genuine interest in music and performing arts; prior experience in an educational or counseling setting is beneficial. Ability to work on-site full time in Hyderabad, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and respond professionally to diverse backgrounds and age groups. Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications or training in counseling are an advantage. Proficiency in common office software and comfort using digital tools for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
