Reviewing life insurance applications, the remote Wyoming Licensed Underwriting Screener will evaluate medical and non-medical information to determine policy issuance and coordinate additional underwriting requirements as needed. Key responsibilities Review life insurance applications for unanswered questions and risk factors requiring additional underwriting review Evaluate medical and non-medical information, including MIB reports, MVRs, and prescription histories Order necessary underwriting requirements based on company guidelines Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute At least six months of experience in an Underwriting Department or four years in a non-entry-level position (LG4 or higher) Ability to operate standard office equipment and use required software packages Score of 98% or higher on the Dean Vaughn Medical Terminology course
