This role is responsible for maintaining material flow, supporting inventory accuracy, and working cross-functionally with production and warehouse teams. A typical day includes receiving and staging materials, communicating with operators, tracking usage in systems, and ensuring all safety and operational procedures are followed.How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:Receive, count, move, and stage materials for production jobs based on job tickets and schedulesTrack material usage using both manual documentation and electronic systemsCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materialsFollow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and GMP requirementsOperate forklifts safely and in accordance with company standardsPrepare and stage materials for production useCommunicate effectively with operators and team membersAdhere to all safety policies and proceduresSupport cycle counts and annual physical inventory processesInvestigate and help resolve inventory discrepanciesManage time effectively to meet operational deadlinesPerform additional duties as assignedWhat you need to succeed:High school diploma or GED requiredAbility to pass in-house forklift certificationBasic computer proficiency (email, word processing, database systems)Strong verbal and written communication skillsGood organizational and time management skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentWillingness to learn and follow safety, operational, and maintenance proceduresAbility to build relationships across all levels of the organizationReliable attendance and dependabilityAbility to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodationPhysical Demands and Work Environment:The role requires standing, sitting, mobility, and use of hands for extended periods.
