Role Summary:We are looking for a people-first Social Media & Affiliate Marketing Specialist to own both the strategy and the day-to-day execution of our social & affiliate programs. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you'll run two well-established programs — and you'll do it with the support of an in-house creative team that brings your ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities:Own the strategy and hands-on execution of our social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.Run both organic content and community management as well as paid social, including managing budget and campaign performance.Lead and grow our affiliate program, managing relationships and activity across platforms like Amazon Creator Connect, Rakuten, Levanta, and Shopify.Build and nurture influencer and affiliate relationships that extend beyond purely digital social interactions.Create content with our creative team — shooting, editing, and writing — while also briefing and coordinating agencies and freelancers as needed.Plan campaigns and manage budgets end to end.Collaborate closely across teams — cross-functional partnership is a core expectation of this role, not an afterthought.Measure what matters: awareness for social activities, and revenue, conversion, and recommendation for affiliate activities.
Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications preferred3–5 years of experience in social media and/or affiliate marketing.Confident, hands-on use of social media platforms and aggregator/management tools that let you manage multiple platforms at once (a must).The ability to understand and read affiliate marketing performance data (a must).Familiarity with affiliate platforms such as Amazon Creator Connect, Rakuten, Levanta, and Shopify.A personable, relationship-driven approach and a genuine enthusiasm for building connections.Comfort partnering with an in-house creative team to bring content to life.As a bonus you are somebody with an enthusiasm for cars and/or the outdoors. Location: This role will be based out of our Rolling Meadows, IL (HQ) office.
Reporting: This position will report to the Head of Marketing.
