We are looking for an experienced Module Lead – .NET who can take ownership of critical product modules and lead the technical delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications. Role Overview As a Module Lead – .NET , you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical ownership of assigned ZingHR product modules. You will work closely with Product, Business, QA, and Engineering teams to understand requirements, design solutions, guide development, conduct code reviews, and ensure high-quality and timely releases. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem , experience with enterprise applications and APIs, and proven ability to lead and mentor development teams. Key Responsibilities Technical & Module Ownership Own the end-to-end development and delivery of assigned ZingHR modules. Translate functional and business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Design application architecture, APIs, integrations, and technical components. Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code using C# and .NET. Drive development using ASP.NET Web API, MVC, SQL Server, and related Microsoft technologies. Work on Microservices, SOA, API Gateway, and enterprise application architectures. Identify technical risks, dependencies, and performance bottlenecks and provide appropriate solutions. Participate in technical feasibility analysis and contribute to product and technology roadmaps. Team Leadership Lead and mentor a team of .NET developers. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and engineering best practices. Guide developers on architecture, design patterns, performance optimization, and scalability. Support team members in troubleshooting complex technical issues. Conduct technical discussions and provide constructive feedback to improve engineering quality. Product Development & Delivery Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle. Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, estimation, and Scrum ceremonies. Ensure timely delivery of features, enhancements, and fixes. Coordinate with QA teams to ensure functional, integration, regression, and performance requirements are met. Support deployment, production releases, and post-release issues. Ensure product modules meet required standards for security, performance, scalability, and reliability. Integration & API Development Design and implement RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations. Work with third-party systems and external APIs. Develop scalable integration solutions using API Gateway and microservices architecture. Troubleshoot integration and transaction-related issues. Database & Performance Design and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database operations. Identify and resolve application and database performance issues. Ensure efficient data handling and scalable application design. Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET / .NET Framework Strong experience with ASP.NET Web API and MVC Strong knowledge of SQL Server Experience with REST APIs and API integrations Good understanding of Microservices and SOA Experience with API Gateway / enterprise integration architecture Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and design principles Experience with JavaScript / jQuery Strong understanding of software development lifecycle Experience working with Agile / Scrum methodologies Good understanding of application performance, scalability, and maintainability Experience with source control, code review, and engineering best practices Leadership & Behavioural Skills Strong technical leadership and decision-making abilities Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to mentor and develop engineering talent Strong stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration skills Ability to take ownership and drive tasks independently Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work in a fast-paced product/SaaS environment Preferred Experience Experience working on enterprise SaaS / HRTech / HCM / ERP products Experience building highly scalable enterprise applications Experience handling integrations with multiple third-party systems Experience working with distributed systems or Microservices Experience in FinTech, HRTech, BFSI, or other enterprise product environments Experience managing or technically leading development and QA teams Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
