Lexor Miami is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Licensed Optician to join our growing team. We specialize in luxury eyewear and are committed to providing an exceptional patient and shopping experience.

Please note: This position is Full-Time and applicants must hold a current Florida Licensed Optician License. Only qualified licensed candidates will be considered. Interviews will be conducted in person.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting prescription eyewear that fits their vision needs, lifestyle, and personal style.
• Recommend lenses, coatings, and premium optical solutions based on each patient's prescription.
• Perform accurate eyewear measurements, fittings, adjustments, and repairs to ensure maximum comfort and optimal vision.
• Verify and process prescriptions with precision.
• Educate patients on lens technologies, contact lenses, eyewear maintenance, and proper care.
• Process vision insurance benefits and maintain accurate patient records while complying with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with optometrists and team members to provide exceptional patient care.
• Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and optical accessories.
• Stay informed about the latest lens technologies and luxury eyewear collections.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Support daily store operations and contribute to achieving individual and team sales goals.

Required Qualifications

• Current Florida Licensed Optician License (Required).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Licensed Optician.
• Previous experience in an optical retail or medical practice.
• Strong knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frame fitting, measurements, and optical products.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with luxury eyewear brands.
• Knowledge of vision insurance plans and billing procedures.
• Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Retail sales experience with commission-based goals.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
