Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Job Description

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you’ll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
  • 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
  • BLS Certification
  • Prior travel experience
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA school
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
  • Experience with abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms
  • Proficiency scanning small parts including thyroid, breast, and scrotum
  • Experience with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations

Assignment Details

  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Holiday coverage if necessary
