• Ensure branch underwriting teams adhere to HO underwriting philosophies, frameworks, and guidelines to support disciplined underwriting and achieve target COR and business outcomes.
• Monitor portfolio performance at a national level to identify adverse and profitable trends, growth segments, and recommend corrective or growth actions.
• Drive implementation of agreed portfolio initiatives to improve profitability and market position.
• Lead and develop junior underwriting teams by providing guidance, training, and fostering a high-performance, engaged culture.
• Collaborate with peers and HR to align policies, training initiatives, and workforce development with business needs.
