Additional Information About the Role The Pulmonary Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurses provide high-quality care for patients experiencing acute medical conditions such as Pre and Post Lung Transplant, Pulmonary Hypertension, Ventilator dependent/weaning, and special drips while working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely and effective treatment. Our unit is supported by an Advanced Practice Nurse and multiple physician teams. The PPCU is a 9-bed unit with private rooms with a patient focus on weaning respiratory support and a multi-disciplinary therapy team for patient rehabilitation.
