This correctional facility delivers outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to a pediatric patient population within a secure clinical environment. The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery and maintains clinical workflows structured to address the primary and chronic care needs of the population served. Credentialing for this position is estimated at approximately 30 days.

The Internal Medicine physician will provide outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to a pediatric patient population at a correctional facility during day shift hours, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The clinician will work a minimum of 20 hours per week with the potential to work up to 40 hours per week, managing an average of 2.5 patients per hour. Clinical responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations and managing acute and chronic medical conditions. No call coverage is required for this assignment, and prescriptive authority is required.
