Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Telephone Operator role based in Bengaluru. The Telephone Operator will handle incoming and outgoing calls, manage the switchboard, and ensure callers are directed promptly to the appropriate departments or professionals. Daily tasks include answering patient and visitor inquiries, providing basic information about services, appointments, and timings, and accurately recording and relaying messages. The role involves coordinating with front office and clinical teams, maintaining call logs, and following standard operating procedures for emergency and priority calls. The Telephone Operator is expected to maintain professional phone etiquette, safeguard confidentiality, and support a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to interact politely and clearly with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Candidates should possess Switchboard and Switchboard Operator skills to efficiently route calls and manage multiple lines.
- Candidates should possess Customer Support skills to address inquiries, provide accurate information, and resolve basic concerns.
- Ability to handle high call volumes calmly, prioritize urgent calls, and follow escalation protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for updating records, scheduling, and using telephony or hospital information systems.
- Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or customer service environment is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification of high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in communication or customer service is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
