Role DescriptionThis is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of utility electrical construction projects across Illinois, managing projects from pre-construction through completion while ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key responsibilities:Manage Power Transmission & Distribution projects from initial planning through completion.Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work to establish project requirements.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.Coordinate with utility clients, subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and internal teams.Oversee project execution and ensure work is progressing in accordance with plans, specifications, and contractual requirements.Monitor project costs, schedules, and performance, identifying potential issues and implementing appropriate solutions.Participate in pre-construction meetings, project planning, and client meetings.Work closely with Superintendents and field leadership to ensure projects are delivered effectively.Maintain strong relationships with utility clients and other project stakeholders.Prepare regular project updates, financial reports, and other required project documentation.Travel to project sites throughout Illinois as required to oversee project progress and support field teams.
QualificationsPrevious Project Management experience within Power Transmission & Distribution or utility electrical construction.Strong utility electrical construction experience is required.Experience with transmission, distribution, and/or substation projects preferred.Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and field teams.Strong understanding of utility construction processes and project delivery. xzbcwsv Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout Illinois.
