Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll Operations Resource to represent the client during an Employee Central Payroll implementation. This individual will work closely with the business, payroll, IT, integration teams, and the implementation partner to support a successful and timely deployment.

The ideal candidate will have strong payroll operations knowledge, hands-on Employee Central Payroll experience, and the ability to identify issues, coordinate resolutions, validate payroll results, and keep project activities on track.

Key Responsibilities

Represent the client’s payroll operations team throughout the implementation.

Work closely with the implementation partner to review configuration, design decisions, deliverables, and project progress.

Coordinate requirements and decisions across payroll, HR, finance, benefits, IT, and other business teams.

Support end-to-end testing, including unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and parallel payroll testing.

Perform payroll comparisons and reconcile results between the current payroll system and Employee Central Payroll.

Analyze payroll discrepancies, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.

Document defects and track minor bugs, configuration changes, and fixes through resolution.

Validate employee data, earnings, deductions, taxes, benefits, garnishments, retroactive calculations, and payroll results.

Prepare or review functional and technical specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and payroll-related requirements.

Test inbound and outbound integrations and confirm that data is processed accurately and completely.

Coordinate with internal IT teams and integration developers to investigate and resolve technical issues.

Assist with data conversion validation, payroll balancing, and reconciliation activities.

Maintain testing documentation, issue logs, decision logs, and status updates.

Identify project risks, dependencies, and unresolved issues and escalate them appropriately.

Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, production validation, and post-go-live stabilization.
