An AmLaw firm with a rapidly growing New Jersey office in Berkeley Heights is seeking a Senior Litigation Associate with 5+ years of management-side complex litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience independently managing sophisticated litigation matters and an interest in developing a book of business and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
Key responsibilities include:Drafting and responding to pleadings.Managing written discovery, electronic discovery, and e-discovery strategy.Drafting and arguing dispositive and non-dispositive motions.Taking and defending depositions.Leading or substantially participating in mediations and trials.Managing multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment.Mentoring junior attorneys and collaborating with litigation teams.Supporting business development initiatives and long-term practice growth.
Qualifications5+ years of management-side complex employment litigation experience.Excellent academic credentials.Exceptional legal writing, analytical, research, and advocacy skills.Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated matters independently.Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle competing priorities.Excellent judgment, initiative, adaptability, and leadership abilities.Collaborative mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and commitment to exceptional client service.Interest in business development and building a long-term practice.Admission to both the New Jersey and New York Bars is required.

Compensation and BenefitsThe anticipated annual base salary range is $195,000–$215,000+, with actual compensation determined by relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and other permissible job-related factors.
