Answer inbound calls from students and parents.Research questions and provide accurate information using multiple computer systems.Assist with questions related to financial aid, student accounts, admissions, and other student services.Help students understand education funding information and available resources.Verify identities and follow required security and authorization procedures.Navigate sensitive or challenging conversations with patience, empathy, and professionalism.Resolve issues when possible and escalate questions when additional support is needed.Learn new processes and expand your knowledge of school-specific services.Work collaboratively with your team to provide a positive, consistent customer experience.What We're Looking For
Previous call center or customer service experience.A stable employment history, including at least one employer where you've worked for two or more years.Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.Positive energy and a genuine interest in helping people.A team-oriented mindset and willingness to contribute to shared goals.Ability to navigate multiple computer systems while assisting callers.Professionalism, patience, and empathy when handling difficult conversations.Comfort communicating with students who may not qualify for funding or receive the outcome they hoped for.Dependable attendance and the ability to follow scheduled shifts.Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and learning new information.Ability to work on-site in Knoxville, TN.
