Work Location: Mira Road, Mumbai (Close to Railway Station)

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Position: Medical Social Worker.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients who approach the Trust for financial or medical assistance.
  • Understand each case individually and process applications in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Complete all required formalities, including verification and documentation of patient records.
  • Maintain physical records, case files, and supporting documents in a systematic and organized manner.
  • Scan documents and maintain accurate and updated electronic records.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, medical teams, and other stakeholders for timely case processing.
  • Handle Trust administration activities , including documentation, coordination, record management, and day-to-day administrative requirements.
  • Develop a clear understanding of Medical Trust operations, procedures, policies, and compliance requirements .
  • Possess basic knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements applicable to Trust operations, patient assistance, documentation, and related processes.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with applicable Trust policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and sensitive documents.
  • Handle other miscellaneous administrative and office-related tasks as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Medical Social Work, Trust administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Degree or Diploma in Medical Social Work / Social Work .
  • Prior experience in Medical Trust / Charitable Trust administration will be preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Trust operations, documentation, compliance, and administrative procedures .
  • Basic knowledge of legal and statutory requirements related to Trust/NGO operations and patient assistance processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications , especially MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong documentation, coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient cases with empathy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
