About Our Client Our client is hiring for the building and construction industry in Manhattan. Job Description Oversee daily construction site operations to ensure efficiency and safety. Ensure compliance with New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) codes and regulations. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and inspectors to maintain project timelines. Review and approve permits, blueprints, and construction plans. Manage on-site inspections and address any issues to ensure project adherence to standards. Maintain accurate project documentation and reports. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and resolve concerns. Ensure the implementation of safety protocols and practices on-site. The Successful Applicant A successful DOB Superintendent - Construction - Manhattan should have: A VALID and CURRENT DOB License Strong knowledge of New York City DOB codes and regulations. Experience managing construction projects in the property and construction industry. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
