Shift: 2nd Shift (Wednesday - Saturday)Industry: Third-Party Logistics (3PL)
Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and hands-on Distribution Supervisor to lead operations on our 2nd shift team within a large, growing 3PL distribution environment. This role is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, driving productivity, maintaining safety and quality standards, and developing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading warehouse personnel in a fast-paced distribution setting and a passion for continuous improvement.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead warehouse associates in receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, and inventory operationsDrive productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to meet customer and operational goalsMonitor daily workflow and staffing levels to ensure service expectations are achievedCoach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a positive work environmentConduct performance evaluations, employee training, and disciplinary actions as neededEnsure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsInvestigate operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve processesPartner with leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost savingsMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate results to managementMaintain inventory accuracy and support cycle count activitiesCollaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer service and operational execution
Qualifications3+ years of supervisory experience in distribution, warehousing, logistics, or 3PL operationsStrong leadership and team development skillsExperience managing performance metrics and productivity goalsKnowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processesProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment xzbcwsv Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
