Job Title: Career Opportunity for Finance Role (Chennai-Oragadom)

Position Focus

The incumbent will be a part of the core management team, reporting to Plant Finance controller. He / She will play a strong business support role.

The incumbent will focus on US / Indian GAAP reporting, regulatory and statutory compliances, SOX and Internal Controls, CAPEX.

Education / Experience

Qualified Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant with a minimum 10 year post qualification work experience. Additional qualifications if any CPA / CMA / ACS will be a plus. 8 -10 years in a senior position of a midsized / large Manufacturing Company preferably US MNC in the Automotive / Auto-ancillary / of a mid-size (Rs. 250 Crs plus) MNC Candidate must display a good understanding of US & Indian GAAP, Indian statutory requirements including direct / indirect taxation, transfer pricing, SOX and Business Controls, Credit Control and should have hands-on experience of the above areas. Candidate must be fully conversant with Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost & Credit Control, Margin Analysis, Costing & Profitability Analysis, Free Cash flow and Management Reporting. Working knowledge of ERP system is a must. Knowledge of MFG-PRO / Hyperion will be a plus. Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail are a must.

Job Specific Comments

Timely and accurate Financial Accounting and Audits as per IFRS & Indian Accounting standards, Forecasting and MIS reporting. Responsible for monthly reporting, variance analysis and to provide adequate explanation for the monthly, quarterly and yearly analysis. Oversees all accounting procedures and systems and internal controls used in the company. Supports the preparation of budgets and financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow analysis, tax returns and reports for Government regulatory agencies. Motivates the immediate reporting staff for better performance and effective service and encourage team spirit. Coordinates with the senior and junior management of other departments as well, as every department in the organization is directly or indirectly associated with the finance department.
