Job Description
Job Summary The Sr. Executive – Accounts& Finance will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, project-wise accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, statutory compliance and MIS reporting. • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting or Finance. • 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in real estate, construction or infrastructure. • Or CA Inter with 3-5 years of Experience. •The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, preferably with experience in the real estate/construction industry and should be comfortable working across multiple projects and entities. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Operations • Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. • Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries and supporting documentation. • Perform regular bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliations. • Ensure proper accounting and allocation of expenses across projects and entities. • Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and coordinate with relevant teams for timely closure. • Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. Page 1 of 2 Project Accounting • Maintain project-wise and entity-wise accounts and ensure correct allocation of costs and revenues. • Track project expenses, construction-related costs, professional fees, statutory charges and other project expenditures. • Assist in monitoring project budgets versus actual expenditure. • Coordinate with project, procurement and commercial teams for accounting-related matters. • Review contractor/vendor bills and ensure appropriate accounting and supporting documentation. • Assist in project profitability and cost analysis. MIS & Reporting • Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial schedules for management review. • Prepare project-wise revenue, cost, receivable and payable reports. • Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. • Provide accounting data and analysis to management for decision-making. • Identify unusual transactions, variances and accounting discrepancies and highlight them to management. Statutory Compliance • Assist in timely compliance with GST, TDS and other applicable statutory requirements. • Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of GST and TDS-related transactions. • Coordinate with auditors, consultants and internal teams during statutory audits and assessments. • Maintain proper records and documentation for statutory requirements. Audit & Internal Controls • Support internal, statutory and tax audits. • Prepare audit schedules and provide supporting documents as required. • Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and accounting policies. • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to accounting and reporting processes. Candidate Profile . Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. • Good working knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory accounting requirements. • Experience in project-wise accounting will be an advantage. • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software. • Experience with ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle or similar platforms will be preferred. • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills. • Good communication and coordination skills. • Ability to manage multiple entities/projects and meet reporting deadlines. • High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.
