Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. Monitor ongoing and planned investments across financial avenues, ensuring compliance with internal investment guidelines, counterparty limits, and board-approved policies.
  2. Manage accounting and controls for derivatives and hedges, including hedge documentation, effectiveness testing, valuation checks, and periodic MIS reporting to management.
  3. Conduct financial analysis on liquidity, FX exposures, and investment performance to support treasury decision-making and strategic planning.
  4. Analyse existing treasury and finance processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and design and implement streamlined workflows that strengthen controls and accuracy.
  5. Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of Treasury Management Systems, automation solutions, and analytics tools, working closely with IT and vendors.
  6. Drive change management for finance transformation initiatives, including stakeholder communication, training of finance staff on new systems, and securing organisation-wide buy-in.
  7. Track and report progress of transformation projects to leadership, proactively resolving cross-functional roadblocks and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.

Qualifications

  1. CFA, CMA, CA Inter, or equivalent finance qualification with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate finance, or finance transformation.
  2. Working knowledge of investment management, liquidity management, foreign exchange risk management, and treasury accounting, including derivatives accounting under applicable standards.
  3. Demonstrated experience in managing projects end to end and leading cross-functional process improvement or transformation initiatives.
  4. Hands-on exposure to SAP, Treasury Management Systems, or comparable finance technologies, with familiarity in automation and analytics tools preferred.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into clear, decision-ready insights for senior management.
  6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing teams across finance, IT, and business functions.
  7. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and drive change with ownership and accountability.
