OBGYN - Office Registered Nurse - Geneva Office

Explore the Thompson difference and apply today. </p><p> Job Requirements: </p><ul><li> Demonstrates skill in provision of care appropriate to the age of those patients served in a primary care office setting. </li><li> Demonstrates knowledge and principles of growth and development over a life span. </li><li> Exhibits the ability to access data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his/her age specific needs and provide the necessary care as described in each Department’s Policies and Procedures. </li><li> Shows caring and concern for all patients. </li><li> Demonstrates accuracy and completeness in charting documentation. </li><li> Demonstrates phlebotomy and laboratory testing techniques at a level consistent with demands of the position. </li><li> Demonstrates the ability to work without direct supervision, while executing all provider orders. </li><li> Demonstrates triage capability within scope of practice to assess patient condition. </li><li> Demonstrates the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with remaining office staff and Practice Management. </li><li> Exhibits leadership skills through active support of practice and system goals and objectives as well as assuming responsibility for coordination of all clinical staffing needs and laboratory activity. </li><li> Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to the patients, staff and the health system. </li></ul><p> Qualifications: </p><ul><li> Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing, currently licensed as a registered nurse in New York State </li><li> Must maintain current CPR training and certification </li></ul><p> Education: </p><ul><li> Graduation from an approved school of nursing, required </li></ul><p> Experience: </p><ul><li> Five years of recent nursing experience required. In addition, the Registered Nurse is required to successfully complete the Thompson Health System orientation program during the introductory period. </li><li> Physician office nursing experience, injection administration and phlebotomy skills preferred. </li></ul><p> Pay Range: $34.00 - $45.00 </p><p> Starting Pay: Based on Experience </p><p> Thompson Health is an EOE encouraging individuals with disabilities and veterans to apply </p>
