Opportunity:

We are a small, hi-growth tech company seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a collaborative finance team in a flexible hybrid role based in Dublin, California. This is an outstanding opportunity for an entry level or just 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting who wants meaningful ownership of core accounting processes, exposure to month-end close and financial reporting, and a clear path to grow as an Accountant, General Ledger Accountant, or Senior Staff Accountant. You will be recognized for bringing accuracy, curiosity, and sound judgment to work that directly supports business decisions. What You Will Do:

• Handle full-cycle A/P duties (input invoices, matching, approvals, cash disbursements, 1099s etc)
• Prepare and transmit A/R invoices, receive cash, and handle customer queries.
• Prepare accurate journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules while maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.
• Perform timely account reconciliations, including balance sheet reconciliations, and investigate variances with a problem-solving mindset.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities to help deliver dependable financial statements and financial reporting.
• Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and resolve accounting questions.
• Use accounting software and ERP systems to organize data, support reporting, and contribute to efficient, scalable accounting operations.
• Assist with financial analysis, forecasting, accounts receivable activities, and audit or tax-related requests as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• You bring 0-2 years of hands-on experience with journal entries, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close in a professional accounting environment.
• You apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, or GAAP, consistently and can explain accounting treatment with onfidence.
• You are familiar with accounting software or enterprise resource planning systems and comfortable working with financial data.
• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or have equivalent relevant accounting experience.
