About The Role

The Claims Operations Executive will play a key role in managing end-to-end claims operations, customer service, invoicing, and reconciliations.

The role focuses on processing high-volume, low-value claims efficiently while maintaining accuracy and delivering a high standard of customer support. You will be responsible for ensuring claims are assessed promptly, invoices are managed effectively, and customer queries are resolved professionally and within agreed service levels.

This position requires someone who can work independently, make sound decisions, and take ownership of operational processes in a fast-growing business environment.

Responsibilities - What you'll be doing:

• Assess and settle high-volume insurance claims using the company's internal claims platform.

• Process claims efficiently while maintaining accuracy and service-level commitments.

• Create and manage manual claims from First Notification of Loss (FNOL) through to settlement, approval, or decline.

• Review claims against policy terms and identify cases that fall outside coverage.

• Recognise and escalate potentially fraudulent claim activity.

• Ensure invoices are generated and issued accurately and on time.

• Monitor outstanding payments and proactively follow up on overdue invoices.

• Reconcile invoices against accounts and maintain accurate financial records.

• Respond to customer email enquiries within one business day.

• Deliver professional, timely, and customer-focused support.

• Maintain accurate claim documentation and operational records.

• Escalate customer feedback and product-related issues to internal stakeholders.

• Support additional operational activities when required while maintaining claims and customer service priorities.

Requirements - What we're looking for:

We think the right candidate will tick most of the following boxes:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience handling automotive insurance claims.

• Experience processing high-volume, low-value insurance claims.

• Strong understanding of claims assessment and settlement processes.

• Experience working within SLA-driven operational environments.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Strong customer service experience, preferably in a B2 B environment.

• Ability to work independently and use sound judgement when processes are not clearly defined.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Highly proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.

• Experience working with databases and operational systems.

• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in Insur Tech, Logistics Tech, Automotive Technology, or related industries.

• SQL experience for reporting and data analysis.

• Familiarity with AI productivity tools and workflow automation platforms.

• Previous experience supporting UK-based customers or businesses.

• Exposure to fraud detection and prevention processes.

• Experience working within remote international teams.

Work Schedule

As the client is UK-based, you will be required to work UK daytime hours:

• Monday to Friday

• 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM GMT

• 01:30 PM – 09:30 PM IST
