Maintenance Technician – Specialist Manufacturer

Location: Rotherham
Salary: £48,338 + Pension + Paid Overtime
Shift Pattern:
Week 1 - Thursday to Sunday 6am - 6pm
Week 2 - Monday to Friday, 6pm - 2pm
Week 3 - Monday to Friday, 10pm - 6am
Week 4 - Monday to Friday, 2pm - 10pm
Overtime when covering shifts .
x1.5 Saturday.
x2 time Sundays
x1.25 covering day shift
x1.75 covering nights

My Client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers within its field of specialist products . The company is a well established producer, with over 40 years of experience, to the global markets. They are looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this secure business with a current group turn over in excess of £100 million.
Key Skills
· Apprentice Trained from Fast Moving Environment
· Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery
· Understanding of PPM Systems in Manufacturing
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards, working on several electrical areas; with a working knowledge of automated CNC machinery, linked to a dedicated PPM system. The ideal candidate will come from a medium to heavy engineering background, but this is by no means a necessity and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer but have some form of multi-skilled experience and ideally qualifications. You will be willing to be involved in general electro-mechanical work such as welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes other manufacturing heavy machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
