OverviewPulse Edge Insurance Solutions is a Honolulu insurance startup that helps Hawaii business owners understand their risk and get the right coverage, explained plainly. We are a small, growing team, and this is our first SDR hire.
The OpportunityYou will open doors: find Hawaii business owners who should be talking to us, start the conversation, and book meetings for our producers.No insurance license or insurance background is needed to start. We will train you on the business, the products, and how to talk about them.This is a launch point, not a dead end. Perform and enjoy the work, and the role leads into an Account Executive (producer) seat, with an Account Manager track as another option.
ResponsibilitiesCold call business owners and decision makers across Hawaii to start conversations and set qualified meetings for our producersWork your pipeline in Salesforce: log every call, email, and touch, and keep accounts and next steps currentUse LinkedIn to research prospects, build connections, and warm up outreachWork alumni networks, community groups, and local business circles to generate introductionsHand off meetings cleanly so producers walk in preparedShare what is getting in your way: the objections you hit, what blocks you, and what you need to learn next
QualificationsCurious and sharp; you ask good questions and learn fastSelf-made and resilient; you have worked hard for what you have and are not afraid of rejectionComfortable xzbcwsv picking up the phone and talking to people you do not knowOrganized enough to manage a pipeline and follow up without being remindedRooted in Hawaii, with local connections and an understanding of how business gets done hereCoachable; corporate experience is not required and early-career candidates are welcome
